Our overseas client whom prefers to remain anonymous commented with his order… “You may wish to know we sent a free ribbon to the customer to test which they were very happy with. We could not have won the order with original ribbons because the distributor sells low price and direct. | “I can’t believe another year has passed and what a year indeed”. We’ve witnessed hope and despair amongst our customers and industry colleagues. Some say it has been their best year, some say a nightmare, others neutral. Eagle started the year searching the sky for thermals. We had no idea what kind of flight we were in for and started to flap our wings in new directions. We’ve seen growth and opportunity, hope and anguish. Eagle Europe grew by over 50% and Eagle USA relocated to a larger facility to satisfy demand. Eagle UK grew market share and kept pricing stable.

| We launched our new Plus-Ribbon line and whilst controversial to some, the majority have indeed welcomed and embraced our move. It’s time for a change! We’ve witnessed card printer manufacturers make threats on partnerships, printer warranties and adjusting firmware in an attempt to lock you out. Datacard have commenced litigation in their attempt to stop us, again further supporting our Plus-Brand quality, but in all these cases we continue to see growth, even with the abuse we endured at Cartes 2009 in Paris, it has been an amazing year. In just 9 months Plus-Ribbon has spread its wings to over 50 countries. We won’t be shot down; it’s time for a change! Furthermore we introduced Plus-Clean with immense success, securing our mission to bring high quality products to market with attractive savings. Ensuring our customers own a stronger position to compete and more profitably is a positive contribution to your sustainability and client proposition, and we’re extremely proud of this. Mid 2010 should see the UK rise out of recession and finally we start to witness encouraging growth. Thereafter we’ll rediscover the positive feelings wiped out towards the end of 2008. If you survived until now, there’s a good chance you have made it for good. Managing cash flow, receiving payment and paying bills on-time remains critical to business, after all, business and our combined contribution is the backbone of our economy, confidence, prosperity and opportunity. Eagle Technologies gifts for children in long term foster care this Christmas!

| As per previous years, Eagle has chosen to donate to a local charity this Christmas instead of sending Christmas Cards and corporate gifts. This year Eagle has chosen to donate abit closer to home.
With over 70 children in Foster Care in the Bracknell Forest area alone, and the dreaded “R” word meaning less donations this Christmas, Eagle decided to donate toys to children in our local area, currently in long term foster care.
This money was donated through our local Council who then chose presents on each of the children’s behalf’s!

| Sunday 13th December 2009, the local Foster Carer’s Association enjoyed their Christmas party at the Bracknell Ice Rink, where all the Foster Carer’s and children got together to watch a pantomime and then meet Santa.
Nicky Kelly from Eagle Technologies accepted a kind invitation to go along. Nicky said… “It was lovely to see the smiles on their faces, especially as the majority of the presents I saw opened were from Eagle. Thanks to our customers support, our toys proved a huge hit. Christmas is all about kids having a good time and I was delighted to see we achieved exactly that”.
Nicky also met a great many of the Foster Carer’s who were very appreciative of our Eagle/customer donation and wanted me to pass on their special thanks to everyone…
